School Rules

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS :-

Pupils are expected to be punctual. Late comers are liable to be sent home at their parent’s own risk.

No pupil who has been absent from school or late will be admitted to the class without the Principal’s permission.

Personal cleanliness and hygiene is highly recommended to all. The students should be particularly careful not to throw any papers, waste, etc. any where in the school premises. They should use the baskets and bins especially provided for this purpose.

SILENCE must be observed in the corridors, outside the Principal’s office and on the stairs during class hours. There should be NO TALKING at the change of periods.

Running, playing or shouting inside the school premises is not allowed.

When the student goes for P.T. or move along the corridor and when changing classes, they must walk in SILENCE.

All pupils must possess a copy of the school calendar which is to be brought to class on all school days. A pupil who loses his/her school calendar will have to buy a new one.

Student must be in the school premises ten minutes before the assembly starts.

During the absence of the teacher, the Monitor will be responsible for order and discipline of the class.

To maintain the uniformity code, students are not allowed to wear ring, bangles and ornaments. Electronic gadgets are not permitted and will be confiscated if found with pupil.

Speaking in English is compulsory within the school premises, even during private conversation.

Pupils are strictly forbidden to write or make any remark on the walls or any part of the school premises or on furniture. Any pupil found guilty for damaging the school property will be suspended and liable to pay for the damages.

General:-

Parents / Guardian are earnestly requested to ensure that their children/wards attend school regularly and punctually.

Any damage done to the school property in the class or in the school premises has to be made good. Pupils must take care of the equipment that has been lent for their use.

The school authorities will not be responsible for the loss, damage or robbery of pupil’s belongings. It is not advisable for the pupils to bring money, mobile or valuable goods unless permitted by the school authorities.

No books (other than text or school library book) Newspapers or Periodicals may be brought to the school without the permission of the Principal.

Pupil of this school are strictly forbidden to buy anything from the street hawkers. No child should leave the school premises during the short recess.

Any communication (request or complaint) made by the parent should be addressed to

the Principal and not to class Teacher. All correspondence from the school to students, parents or guardians must go through the Principal.

Any documents such as leaving certificate, Birth certificates, Bonafide certificates, Duplicates or any extract from General register must be applied for in writing to the Principal. The same will be issued within 15/20 days after submitting the application.

 

Responsibility of sending the ward to school on time and taking him/her back after school rests entirely on the Parents/Guardians.

The responsibility of the school authority ceases immediately after the school is closed.

Parents should regularly check their children’s calendar, note and sign their reports. This promotes discipline in students.

Parental Co-Operation:-

Parents, guardians or other person are not allowed to speak to the students or their teacher during class hours without the written permission of the Principal.

No parent will be allowed without the permission of the Principal to meet any teacher to inquire about the behavior and progress of the child, during school hours.

Parents or guardians are specially requested to notify the school if any change in address.

Parents or guardians should as soon as possible notify the school authority of the

occurrence of any contagious or infectious disease in the house where a pupil lives, and the pupils must not be sent to school until all danger of infection is over after the LAST CASE in the house according to the nature of the disease.
